A BIRTHDAY WISH

A Birthday wish for you my love,

on this your special day.

I wish it filled with sunshine,

peace and joy in everyway.

I wish you to be happy

with friends and loved ones there,

all gathered round enjoying,

good food, with laughter in the air.

I wish you many presents,

with pretty ribbons and a bow.

And a birthday cake, your favorite,

with candles for wishes for you to blow.

I wish, you wish we were together.

But even though we have to be apart,

just think of me and know, I am there

sharing it with you, in my heart.
